CR 460 - Juvenile Delinquency (3)

The course examines the phenomenon of juvenile delinquency. It critically examines the categorization of juveniles as a common class of individuals and the causes and controls of juvenile delinquency. Relevant theories and empirical findings are brought to bear to provide a deep understanding of juvenile delinquency as an empirical phenomenon. Prerequisites: CR 260 /SO 260  or CR 360 /SO 360 . FA or SP, alternate years.
