EN 213 - Writing with Style (3)

This course is designed to expand student understanding and repertoire of stylistic moves and to enable them to write finely crafted, rhetorically sensitive prose. The course also introduces students to modern language theories, which posit that language is inherently ideological. Student will analyze the role of style in persuasion and try to strategically employ elements of style in their own arguments. Prerequisite: EN 112 . 2015 CORE: Creativity & Culture, Transform.
