HI 373 - The Cold War (3)

This course is an exploration of the origins, experiences, and legacies of the Cold War (ca. 1945-1991) in a global context. Using culture (especially popular culture) as the central focus of historical analysis, this will examine the role of creativity and culture in support of and in response to the Cold War in a variety of global settings. In addition, this course will include visits to the Harry S. Truman Library and Museum.
