SW 351 - Human Behavior in the Social Environment II (3) This course is the second in a two-semester sequence in which students examine the dynamic interaction between individuals and their environments, focusing on small groups, organizations, and communities. The course utilizes a critical perspective to assess the application of social systems theory, theories of social interaction, and other theories used in macro social work practice. Infused throughout the course is an appreciation of human diversity. The course will expand the professional self-awareness of the student in engaging with diverse client groups and populations at risk. Prerequisites: SW 303 and SW 350 . SP.
