BI 345 - Molecular Cell Biology w/Laboratory (3)

This course is a lecture and laboratory survey of the chemistry and biology of the basic unit of life-the cell.  Cell ultra-structure, cell physiology, and biochemical features of primarily eukaryotic organisms will be considered.  Laboratory exercises will focus on basic methodologies used in cell and molecular biology and biochemistry. Prerequisites: BI 111  and CH 216 , passed with a “C” or better. SP, odd years.
