Morphology, physiology, and growth of microorganisms; beneficial and harmful relationships between microorganisms and people are examined; techniques of isolation, cultivation, and characterization are used in the laboratory. 3 hours lecture, 3 hours laboratory per week. Prerequisite: BI 111 or BI 112, passed with a “C” or better. FA, SP.
