KN 316 - Anatomical Kinesiology (3) A comprehensive introduction to the general organization and components of the skeletal, muscular, circulatory, respiratory, nervous, and digestive systems. Emphasis is placed on applying knowledge of body systems structure and function to motor development, physical education, and exercise programming (e.g. resistance training, anaerobic conditioning, cardiorespiratory fitness). Lab activities include movement screening, physical fitness testing, and force plate jump testing. Prerequisite: KN 211 with a grade of “C” or better; Second-year standing. FA.
