BI 352 - Microbiology (4) This course will survey the biology of microorganisms, including the structure and function of the prokaryotic cell, prokaryotic metabolism, prokaryotic genetics, and host-pathogen interactions, including cell-to-cell communication. The course will stress current areas of active research in microbiology. Laboratory exercises will focus on interactions of bacteria with their environment by using classical and molecular genetic techniques to address biological problems. Prerequisite: BI 111 . FA Even Years.
