CY 641 - Cybercrime & Digital Forensics (3)This graduate-level course provides an in-depth study of cybercrime and digital forensics, covering the principles, techniques, and tools used to investigate and prevent cybercrime, and to gather and analyze digital evidence for legal purposes. The course explores the different types of cybercrime, including hacking, malware, phishing, and identity theft, and examines the role of digital forensics in cybercrime investigations. Students will gain hands-on experience in conducting digital forensics investigations, including the collection, preservation, and analysis of digital evidence, and will learn how to present findings in legal proceedings.
