CR 364 - The Police (3)

This course examines the actors and organizations formally charged with the enforcement of laws. The course explores the evolution and organization of formal agencies of social control, the nature of actors responsible for enforcing laws, and the relationship between the police as an institution and society at large. Prerequisite: CR 262.
