The study of metabolic pathways begun in CH 342 is continued through biosynthesis and catabolism of fats and proteins. Chemistry of nucleic acids and its relationship to replication, transcription and translation of genetic information and recombinant DNA is considered. 3 hours lecture per week. Prerequisite: CH 342/BI 342. SP.
