A minor in Economics is not permitted for Business Administration majors.
Outcomes
Outcome 1:
Be able to apply knowledge about the economic, legal, and interpersonal environment in the creation and management of the organization.
Minor Note
- At least 18 semester hours in a subject area are required for a minor and at least 6 of these hours must be numbered 300 or above.
- A minimum of 9 hours must be unique between a major and a minor.
- A minimum of 9 hours in the minor must be earned at Avila University.
- A grade of “C” or better must be earned for all graded courses required for the minor.
4 + 1 MBA Early Admission
The School of Business offers an early admission option to outstanding undergraduate business students. This option to be admitted early to the MBA programs allows students to earn the bachelor’s and master’s degree in as few as five years. Prospective students are eligible to apply after completion of at least 55 credit hours and once admitted, can begin taking graduate courses after 75 credit hours are earned.
