The 120-credit hour Bachelors of Applied Science (B.A.S.) is uniquely designed for those seeking an interdisciplinary education that bridges the gap between traditional academic studies and the practical needs of today’s industries. This program is for students that have completed an associate of applied science (A.A.S.) degree in technical or applied field and are looking to enhance their academic and professional business credentials. The BSAS program offers students the opportunity to gain not only theoretical knowledge but also critical thinking essential skills that are in high demand in the professional world. All candidates for the Applied Science major must take the following course as a part of their core, regardless of whether the core is otherwise met. 

Social Science: EC 202 Principles of Microeconomics (3)

Outcomes


Students graduating with a Bachelors of Applied Science (BAS) degree will:

Outcome 1.

Be able to use deductive and inductive reasoning to solve business problems.

Outcome 2.

Be able to effectively research a subject and present findings both orally and in writing.

Outcome 3.

Be able to apply knowledge about the economic, legal, and/or interpersonal environment in the creation and management of the organization.
