Workplace Instructional Design Certificate

The graduate Workplace Instructional Design certificate consists of 13 credit hours of coursework designed to prepare qualified individuals who are transitioning to performance support roles as instructional designers, learning consultants, and managers of learning & development enterprises. The hours count toward the Master of Arts in Management: Workplace Instructional Design concentration. The certificate in Workplace Instructional Design can be taken independent of enrollment in any graduate degree program.

Workplace Instructional Design Requirements
Graduate Certificate Admissions Policy
Please see the Admissions page of this catalog. In addition to those requirements, applicants must also meet the following requirements: - a Master’s Degree from an accredited institution in any discipline; or
- an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution in any discipline.
Applicants must hold an undergraduate degree to be eligible for admission. While there is no GPA requirement for entry, students must earn a grade of “B” or higher in every course. Failure to meet this requirement will result in dismissal from the certificate program. Outcomes
The Master of Arts degree in Management students will be expected to meet the following educational outcomes: - Integrate management theory and practice to meet organizational goals.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with others.
- Develop skills of leadership.
- Present and implement solutions to address business problems.
- Distinguish ethical aspects of managerial decisions.
- Identify and secure resources necessary to solve business problems.
Assessment
The Master of Arts in Management, M.A. program will use signature assessments in key courses along with a capstone experience evaluation in MG 695 . |
