Economics Minors must complete a total of 18 hours in the minor area to include:

Outcomes
Outcome 1:
Be able to apply knowledge about the economic, legal, and interpersonal environment in the creation and management of the organization.
Note
Either MA 115 or MA 120 is a prerequisite to courses in the School of Business minors. At least 12 hours of courses numbered 300 or above in the minor must be completed at Avila University.
A minor in Business Administration, Management, or Marketing is not permitted for students majoring in the School of Business. A minor in Economics is not allowed for Accounting or Business Administration majors.
Minor Note
- At least 18 semester hours in a subject area are required for a minor.
- A minimum of 9 hours in the minor must be earned at Avila University.
- A minimum of 9 hours must be unique between a major and a minor.
- A grade of “C” or better must be earned for all graded courses required for the minor.
