CH 131 - Principles of Chemistry (4)

This course is intended for students who are new to chemistry. It provides a brief survey of the major components of chemistry which includes matter, measurement and units, scientific reasoning, problem solving, atoms, the periodic table, chemical compounds, chemical equations, energy, acids and bases, light, and radiation. 3 hours lecture, 3 hours laboratory per week.
