KN 499 - Research Seminar (2) This fourth-year course engages students in an immersive experience of academic inquiry through the investigation of evidence-based best practices and replication research. Learners explore current topics, identify research questions, gather and analyze evidence, reach informed conclusions, and share results. Special attention is given to information dissemination formats that may include infographics and animations, blogs and vlogs, and podcasts, as well as scholarly papers and presentations. This course meets the Capstone requirement for the major. Prerequisite: Third-year standing with a 2.50 cumulative GPA or better. Corequisite: MA 155 or SO 230 or equivalent. FA, SP.
