ED 363 - Educational Assessment (3)

An analysis and study of topics pertinent to the assessment of education functioning.  Emphasis will be on diagnostic assessment, both formal and informal, to aid in the diagnosis and remediation of learning problems occurring in special education settings, or with children needing individualized programming in general education classrooms.  Students will analyze and interpret several assessment instruments as well as data collection utilized in RtI and MTSS models. Prerequisite: ED 235 - Psychology of the Exceptional Child (3)   Spring, even years.
