KN 310 - Applied Sports Medicine (3) This course studies the fundamentals of injury prevention, musculoskeletal examination, therapeutic exercise, and emergency care. Leaners also develop their knowledge and skills to communicate more effectively with health professionals and better understand individual client/athlete needs. The knowledge and skills acquired during this course will increase competency to prevent and care for injuries in athletic and physically active population. Prerequisite: Prerequisite: BI 220 or BI 231 or KN 216 with a “C” grade or better; Second-year standing. FA.
